Student of Cultures

One of the greatest pleasures I enjoy is travel to foreign countries. Mingling with the locals of more than forty countries has given me wonderful experiences of friendship and enriching opportunities to see from other peoples’ points of view which gives the added value of seeing my own native culture more objectively.

What I see again and again is that despite obvious differences in customs and traditions, similarities of the human heart are even greater. Having the means to feed and clothe oneself and one’s family, a place to call home, having a confidante, and love and respect, these are the universally important elements of life.
